Nous builds a personalized household finance service that scans energy, insurance, mortgages, broadband and other subscriptions to surface better deals and automate switching or renegotiation. It currently operates a closed beta and is launching a free cost-of-living dashboard in the coming weeks to project how inflation will affect individual households. The company plans a paid subscription “autopilot” product this year that it says could save a typical household more than £1,000 a year. Nous intends to rely on consumer-authorized data sources (OpenBanking feeds, email parsing and other connectors) to power its models and automation. The team has signalled intent to pursue B Corp status and to work with financial literacy charities and government schemes to reach vulnerable households. Nous was founded in 2021 and is focused on bringing its first products to market and scaling within the UK.
