It designs, builds and hosts dynamic global marketplaces that enable clients to buy and sell a wide range of commodities and assets, including coal, natural gas, oil, agriculture, freight and futures. The company works with clients such as Global Dairy Trade, Lloyd's and AgriClear. Perfect Channel is led by Phil Bird (CEO) and Jim Leeds (CTO). The company intends to use recent funding to drive continued sales growth and further product development over the coming year. Perfect Channel provides a cloud-based, end-to-end enterprise auction platform offering auction design, auction management and post-auction analytics. Its platform is designed for scale, capable of managing up to 60,000 simultaneous bidders across multiple verticals globally. Clients include Christie’s, Lloyd’s of London and LeasePlan across the UK, U.S. and Europe. Led by CEO Phil Bird and based in London, the company secured £2m in growth funding from Beringea. The company intends to use the funds to build its senior management team, to launch in the US and to expand the development team. As part of the investment, Rob Hodgkinson, Investment Manager at Beringea, will join Perfect Channel’s board.
