Novair, founded in 1977 and based in the Paris region, designs and manufactures on-site medical and industrial gas production technologies, including a flagship range of medical oxygen generators. The company exports worldwide and has subsidiaries in France and Italy. Its oxygen generators have been installed at several thousand hospitals and clinics and were deployed in over 40 countries during the Covid-19 crisis, including more than 50 units in India. Novair's on-site generation solutions reduce dependence on delivered oxygen and lower the carbon footprint compared with trucked oxygen. Management has expressed plans to expand internationally and become a major player in the medical oxygen market. Novair reported nearly €30 million of revenue in 2020 (up more than 50% year-over-year) and expected revenue to reach about €50 million in 2021.
