NoviFlow provides OpenFlow-based switching solutions to network carriers, data center operators and enterprises, focusing on network processor-based switching solutions and applications. The company was founded in March 2012 as a spin-out of the Université du Québec à Montréal and is led by president and CEO Dominique Jodoin. NoviFlow is based in Montreal and also has offices in Sunnyvale and Seattle. It closed a $9.0M Series A round of funding. The round was led by Fonds de solidarité FTQ with participation from W3 Investissement, Somel Investments and previous investors and directors of NoviFlow. The company plans to use the funds to expand global sales resources and marketing activities and to further invest in its switching solutions and applications.
