Overview

ObjectiveHealth combines proprietary AI-driven technology with trained on-site research coordinators to integrate clinical trials into specialty physician practices as a natural extension of patient care. Its platform leverages patient electronic health record data and provider schedules to identify and recruit candidates and to manage trial workflow. In 2023 the company opened its 30th research center-of-excellence, launched ObjectiveScreen (an AI-powered feasibility and recruitment platform) and unveiled ObjectiveView (a sponsor-facing transparency portal). ObjectiveHealth has expanded its research portfolio into dermatology, urology and oncology in addition to gastroenterology, and reports over 30 partnered programs across 16 states with more than 600 providers. The company says it plans to broaden its regional reach, further develop its technology, and add more sites scheduled in 2024. Vitruvian Partners’ new strategic growth investment is intended to provide capacity to expand operations and sustain the company’s rapid growth. ObjectiveGI is a Nashville-based clinically integrated ancillary care platform that embeds clinical trial centers within local gastroenterology (GI) practices to develop therapies for NASH. Founded in 2018 by a gastroenterologist and a research professional, the company provides research infrastructure, optimal trial selection, study implementation, and research personnel management to support patient care and practice enhancement. ObjectiveGI has opened 10 Centers of Research Excellence located at GI practices in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee and has supported value-based care initiatives for more than 3,000 patients. The company raised $6.6M in a Series A financing led by Frist Cressey Ventures. With the funding, ObjectiveGI aims to double the number of clinically integrated research sites by the end of 2020. Its research program emphasizes frequent visits and metabolic improvement to guide patients and improve outcomes amid the rising NASH epidemic.
