The company was founded by Sovan Bin, a former Salesforce employee, and began in Paris before relocating to San Francisco to be closer to U.S. customers. Odaseva serves enterprise customers including Accor, Schneider Electric and Michelin and reported passing 100 million users in November 2022. Over the past two years Odaseva doubled its headcount and added leading enterprises to its customer base. The company plans to use new funding to further develop its core platform, accelerate hiring in San Francisco, Sydney, and Paris, and increase investment in its ecosystem of users and partners. Odaseva is a cloud data management platform for enterprises running critical business applications in the cloud such as Salesforce. Led by CEO and founder Sovan Bin and based in San Francisco, the company provides tools for data privacy compliance automation, data protection, data lifecycle management, breach detection and archive retention. Its platform serves over 2.5 million Salesforce users at customers including Schneider Electric, Toyota and General Electric. The company raised an $11.7M Series A that brought total funding to $14M and plans to use the proceeds to accelerate its go-to-market strategy. Odaseva said it will build on sales and technology partnerships with Accenture, Capgemini, CGI and Deloitte and intends to double headcount in 2019. The solution is positioned for regulated industries requiring GDPR or California Consumer Privacy Act compliance as well as any organization where data privacy directives are core to its mission.
