Odiggo operates a marketplace that connects car owners with service providers for servicing, repair, washing and maintenance. The company is Egypt- and Dubai-based and serves customers across Egypt, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It uses a commission-based model, charging suppliers 20% on every transaction, and reports over 50,000 car owners and more than 300 merchants on the platform. Merchant numbers have grown 40% month-on-month and the user base has increased 200% since the start of the pandemic; the company says it experienced over tenfold growth in the past year. Odiggo plans to expand its team across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt and will continue developing its tech and dashboard software to integrate car metrics and deliver additional product offerings. Founders have set aggressive targets, including one billion services booked and an IPO by 2024.
