Odyssey Airlines Limited is a UK-based business-class airline venture that aims to be the first and only airline to operate non-stop transatlantic services from London City Airport. The company intends to offer premium-class travel for time-conscious travellers, reducing time to airport and serving high-traffic destinations including New York, Toronto, Washington, Boston, Chicago, certain cities in the Middle East, and further afield in Europe. Odyssey signed a purchase agreement to acquire 10 Bombardier CS100 aircraft and is designing an innovative seat configuration. In an equity crowdfunding round on Crowdcube the company raised £1.06m from 231 backers, who acquired a 5.3% stake. The company said it will use the funds to accelerate development in the first half of 2015. Adam Scott is founder and CEO.
