OMass Therapeutics deploys its OdyssION technology platform, which combines novel biochemistry, next-generation native mass spectrometry and custom chemistry, to interrogate targets within their native ecosystems. OMass Therapeutics commercialised Professor Dame Carol Robinson’s native mass spectrometry research to create its OdyssION™ drug-discovery platform. The OdyssION™ platform combines novel biochemistry techniques, next-generation native mass spectrometry, and custom chemistry to interrogate protein interactions within their native ecosystem. OMass advances a pipeline of small-molecule therapeutics comprising five programs that target solute carriers, complex-bound proteins and GPCRs for rare diseases and immunological conditions. Lead development programs include an insurmountable MC2 receptor antagonist for congenital adrenal hyperplasia, a gasdermin D inhibitor for inflammatory diseases, and a GPR65 agonist for inflammatory bowel disease, plus two earlier-stage solute carrier programs. Proceeds from the financing will be used to advance these programs towards clinical trials and to continue expanding the pipeline. The company is headquartered in Oxford, UK.
