Since its 2013 founding Omie has raised more than R$690 million in prior rounds and reports exponential growth. Founded in 2013 by Marcelo Lombardo (CEO) and Rafael Olmos (CTO), the company has expanded its feature set to include embedded financial services. Omie plans to use new capital to accelerate growth of its SaaS platform and to advance innovations in its financial services offering. The company also intends to strengthen both direct sales and a franchise model to establish a local presence in all Brazilian metropolitan centers. Prior capital included a $7M investment from Astella Investimentos announced in September 2018.
