Omie provides cloud-based ERP and financial management software tailored to small and medium-sized businesses in Brazil. Its platform includes integrated tools for invoicing, cash flow management, accounting automation, and e-commerce integration. The company also connects customers with accounting firms and leverages consultants to drive adoption. Omie was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. The firm will use the new funding to support continued growth and product development. Omie provides a cloud-based SaaS ERP combined with entrepreneurial education and a marketplace of services for SMBs. Its core product bundles management software with plans to add integrated financial services for small and medium enterprises. The company says it will roll out new embedded financial offerings that simplify access to payments and other business services. Omie expects to finish the year near 100,000 customers and has recently acquired Devi Tecnologia and G-Click. It also launched a co-branded partnership with Banco Itaú to offer the platform to Itaú’s 1.5 million PJ clients. Since its 2013 founding Omie has raised more than R$690 million in prior rounds and reports exponential growth. Omie provides an ERP management platform targeting medium-sized companies and plans to expand outreach to micro and small businesses. The company received a R$580 million Series C led by SoftBank Latin America Fund, moving it toward potential unicorn status in Brazil. Proceeds will be used for customer acquisition, expanding distribution channels and evolving the product. Omie intends to deepen its financial services offerings for SMEs, including credit, cash management and collections, integrated natively into the software. The company leverages partnerships with accounting firms, recognising accountants' key role in modernising Brazilian SMEs. CEO Marcelo Lombardo said one objective is to reach micro and small companies that still need to understand the gains from better management. Omie offers a cloud-based SaaS platform that helps SMB managers run billing, inventory, working capital management, point-of-sale integrations and financial services such as working-capital financing. The product is modular, targeting core back-office and finance workflows for smaller businesses. Founded in 2013 by Marcelo Lombardo (CEO) and Rafael Olmos (CTO), the company has expanded its feature set to include embedded financial services. Omie plans to use new capital to accelerate growth of its SaaS platform and to advance innovations in its financial services offering. The company also intends to strengthen both direct sales and a franchise model to establish a local presence in all Brazilian metropolitan centers. Prior capital included a $7M investment from Astella Investimentos announced in September 2018.
