Omnisearch provides turnkey enterprise search solutions designed to make audio and video files searchable and has expanded to handle documents, images, presentations and more. The company rebranded from Caption in April and launched its product in June. Omnisearch says it owns the most complete and versatile product in the enterprise search space and reports about a 20% month-over-month increase in paying customers since launch. It has integrated with the Thinkific App Store to enable features like downloadable video transcripts and keyword highlighting for students. Founders Marin Smiljanic (CEO) and Matej Ferencevic (CTO) bring engineering experience from Amazon, SingleStore and Memgraph. The startup intends to use the new capital to grow its engineering headcount and build out sales and marketing.
