Omy develops an AI-powered virtual skin consultant that analyzes user photos across multiple skin parameters to recommend personalized, vegan skincare ingredients and products. The company combines cosmetic chemistry with AI and sells products through select beauty salons in Québec and New Brunswick. Omy plans to expand its product line into North American markets and will acquire new production equipment to support that roll-out. The funding will also be used to grow the team: Omy currently has about 40 employees and plans to hire 23 more this year. To date the company has raised over CAD$13 million in total financing.
