Oncodesign Services provides preclinical research services and has moved to expand its capabilities through acquisitions. The recent investment financed the purchase of Dutch company ZoBio, which specializes in preclinical research for small molecules. Management describes the deal as the first transformative acquisition since the creation of Oncodesign Services as it seeks to become a full-service preclinical research provider. The transaction increased the group's reported revenue to €44 million and its headcount to nearly 280 employees. About fifty of those employees are based in Leiden, the Netherlands.
