OncoDiag, founded in 2013 and based in Miserey near Evreux, France, develops diagnostic tests for early detection, screening and monitoring of cancer with a focus on bladder, colorectal and prostate cancers. Its lead product, the Urodiag urine test, is being commercialized to detect recurrent bladder cancer with diagnostic precision comparable to cystoscopy. The company is validating two additional tests: Prostadiag for localized prostate cancer and Colodiag for colorectal cancer screening via blood testing. Led by co-founder and CEO Claude Hennion, OncoDiag currently employs five people. The company intends to use the new funding to market Urodiag in France and expand internationally to Europe, the United States, Canada and Japan. It completed a financing package consisting of equity and supplementary loans/subsidies to support commercialization and validation efforts.
