Overview
ONI commercializes the Nanoimager, the world’s first desktop super-resolution, single-molecule imaging platform capable of visualizing and tracking individual molecules with ~20 nm accuracy. The company’s system can detect protein biomarkers down to single copies and resolve their spatial and temporal positions, enabling applications across neuroscience, epigenetics, virology, immuno-oncology, drug development, diagnostics and vaccine research. ONI has placed over 120 Nanoimagers and supported more than 650 scientists, with over 110 scientific publications citing its technology. The company plans to expand its portfolio of consumables and cloud-based software apps to deliver end-to-end automated solutions for application verticals. Initial targeted applications are extracellular vesicles and cell therapy (especially CAR-T), where ONI aims to provide superior sensitivity and true quantification. Proceeds from the latest financing will be used to grow commercial and R&D teams in the US and Asia to drive broader technology adoption.
