OnSSI, founded in 2002 and headquartered in Pearl River, New York, is an independent provider of IP-based video management software (VMS) and related services. Its Ocularis VMS platform delivers open architecture, flexibility, and scalability for applications across education, gaming, government, healthcare, manufacturing, public safety, transportation, and utilities. The company has representation in over 100 countries and recently acquired Germany-based SeeTec GmbH while launching Ocularis 5. Seacoast’s $16 million initial growth capital investment will be used to extend OnSSI’s product lines into the middle market with an easy-to-install appliance and to expand the Business Video Intelligence (BVI) business of an affiliate. Seacoast will also provide access to additional working capital over the term of its investment to support global initiatives. The deal is expected to support further product expansion while maintaining a conservatively structured and strong balance sheet.
