Founded in 2017 and based in Munich, the company reports more than 160 industrial customers, including ABB, Daimler Truck, Trumpf, Liebherr, Thyssenkrupp and Quantum Systems. Rather than offering disparate point solutions, Operations1 emphasizes a through-platform strategy that unifies work instructions, quality assurance and maintenance processes. With the new investment from Fortino Capital, the company plans to accelerate development of its AI features to better use production data for decision support and process optimization. Operations1 intends to further strengthen its market position in the German-speaking region and pursue expansion into additional European countries to become a European market leader for software for production employees.
