OrderYOYO builds a platform that lets restaurants manage online takeaway orders, customer engagement and support, and marketing, directly connecting food businesses with customers. The company is Danish and also has a base in London. It works with about 2,000 restaurants across the UK, Ireland, Denmark and Germany. OrderYOYO says it tripled revenue from 2016 to 2017. CEO Thor Angelo frames the product as enabling smaller takeaway restaurants to operate their own online ordering systems similar to major chains. Lead investor VF Venture said it backed the company to help it expand internationally. OrderYoyo develops a freemium web and mobile ordering app plus a printer terminal to help restaurants reach and engage customers. The system is available on the web, iOS and Android and enables restaurant managers to communicate directly with regular customers and deliver offers and new menus. Led by CEO Thor Angelo, the company plans to use the new funds to continue developing the platform and to expand operations. OrderYoyo is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company recently raised approximately €2.48M in funding. The round was intended to support product development and operational expansion.
