Otterize provides a platform that lets developers securely connect services by automatically configuring existing authentication and authorization controls based on developer-declared service calls. It uses declarations to enforce least-privilege access, blocking unintended calls and preventing a compromised service from pivoting to others, and it generates a real-time access graph of service interactions, certificates and protections. The company offers an open-source solution that can be embedded in development pipelines and a newly launched fully managed product, Otterize Cloud. Founders Tomer Greenwald, Ori Shoshan and Uri Sarid (the latter a former CTO of MuleSoft) built the product to let developers focus on code rather than security configuration. Otterize says it is prioritizing product-market fit and responsible growth as it scales. The company is not currently generating revenue, having offered a free service until recently, and it did not disclose its customer base.
