OVO Automotive is a Tel Aviv-based provider of “Vehicle Infotainment as a Service” that enables car fleet businesses to remotely control and personalize connected vehicle screens. Founded by Dr. Zlotkin Gilad, the company uses an original cloud-based app delivery method that is plug-and-play to existing infotainment systems and streams applications from the cloud to vehicle displays. Because applications are streamed rather than run on in-vehicle systems, OVO emphasizes that vehicle, driver and passenger safety and security are not compromised, and the solution operates independently of automakers and Apple/Google. OVO targets car rental, sharing, leasing, importers and dealers, allowing them to offer branded, localized and personalized in-vehicle experiences and to upsell services such as insurance, roadside assistance, maintenance, charging/fueling, parking and other location-based services.
