Oxipit Quality is already available in European markets and Australia and was certified for use in Brazil in December. The software triages scans by urgency, aims to reduce time-to-treatment for critical cases, and trials showed it can save roughly 30% time per patient while reducing error rates. Founded in 2017 by a six-person team of data scientists and medical doctors, including multiple-time Kaggle winners, Oxipit focuses on translating deep-learning advances into everyday clinical practice. CE certification enables deployment across 32 European markets. The company’s objective is to improve radiologist productivity and address specialist shortages in developed markets. Oxipit builds medical image analysis software that uses AI to recognise cancer and other pathologies in radiograms. Its ChestGlass product is described as a first-to-market chest X‑ray search solution that finds radiologically similar images in a database. ChestGlass was selected as one of the top projects for the 2018 Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) Innovation Challenge. The company argues that querying radiology archives by full images — not only keywords or IDs — will change radiological workstation expectations. Oxipit is at an early stage and the CEO, Gediminas Peksys, has said the project needs more funding to assemble a larger team and overcome development challenges. The initial external financing announced is intended to help the team grow and advance the product.
