Overview
Oxygen8 is a Vancouver-based startup that designs and manufactures compact dedicated outdoor air and energy-recovery ventilation systems (its flagship Nova line). Its systems use heat-exchanger technology to recapture thermal energy, a novel membrane to recapture humidity and prevent viral crossover and moisture issues, and high-performance MERV-13 filters to remove contaminants. The company offers decentralized and semi-centralized suite-by-suite or floor-by-floor installations that provide customizable zoned airflow and reduced energy consumption with a lower carbon footprint. In recent months Oxygen8 has installed more than two dozen Nova systems across the U.S. and Canada, in locations including Ohio State University’s baseball stadium, Boston College’s learning center, UBC’s Monashee Residence Hall, a New York City restaurant, and multiple offices and schools. Following the financing, Oxygen8 plans to leverage its new strategic investor relationships and introductions to expand deployments and business development across North America.
