Sodida Lot N°15, Hlm, Dakar, Senegal
Overview
PAPS, founded in 2016 by Bamba Lo, provides end-to-end logistics solutions for businesses with offline and online operations across Senegal and Ivory Coast. The company owns warehouses, a fleet of motorcycles, vans, cars and trucks, and a relay network of hubs to support inter- and intra-city logistics and last-mile delivery. PAPS offers merchants visibility features to track deliveries from pickup through transit to destination and allows scheduling on its platform. Clients span banking, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals, and PAPS handles distribution for about 70% of pharmacies in Senegal; major players such as DHL, FedEx, Jumia, Glovo and Sokowatch also use PAPS in Senegal and Ivory Coast. PAPS claims to be the largest last-mile fleet in Senegal, has completed over 10 million deliveries across its two markets since inception, and reports delivery growth of 150% year-on-year. The company plans to use the new funding to strengthen its tech team, expand physical infrastructure to onboard more warehouses, hubs and fleets, and extend its offering to more African companies.
