- HappyRobot
Participated · Series C · Aug 2026
HappyRobot builds a vertical AI platform of production-ready agents that automate operational tasks across logistics, freight, and customer support. Its agents handle end-to-end work across phone, email, chat, document parsing, web browsing, and backend data entry, combining transcription, LLMs, voice generation, OCR, and browser automation. The platform integrates with TMS, ERP, CRM and other enterprise systems and is already used in production to negotiate shipping rates, book appointments, collect payments, recruit staff, and provide stakeholder updates. Founded in 2023 in Spain, the company emphasizes domain-specific agents tailored to messy, fragmented operational workflows rather than general-purpose copilots. HappyRobot plans to use new funding to expand hiring across engineering, go-to-market, and forward-deployed engineering teams who work on-site with clients to tailor and maintain AI workflows. Its rise is driven by labour shortages, rising operational complexity, and the inefficiencies of fragmented software stacks. HappyRobot builds an agentic AI conversational platform that automates complex logistics communications—handling inbound and outbound calls, carrier negotiations, data capture, load updates, scheduling, and payment-status inquiries. The platform integrates with existing systems to provide real-time analytics, intent detection, and 24/7 operational support. Customers report the AI agents have halved call times and reduced operational costs by roughly one third; by August the system had completed over 100,000 AI-driven calls and the company expects ten times that next year. HappyRobot’s agents answer calls 24/7 with no hold time, enabling human staff to focus on higher-value work. Notable customers include Flexport, Job&Talent, Spot Inc., Syfan Logistics, Best Bay Logistics, and Circle Logistics. The company says it will use new funding to accelerate product development and expand and support its customer base to transform logistics operations.

The company sells eSIM data bundles for short trips and longer stays and plans to introduce dedicated data, text, and voice packages in select markets. Airalo is rolling out an improved in‑app experience across web, iOS, and Android and expanding its product lineup with new plan options. It is also scaling its enterprise platform, Airalo for Business, to help companies manage global connectivity and reduce roaming costs by up to 90%. For partners, Airalo offers White Label eSIM stores, API integrations, reseller tools, and voucher programs to enable branded and integrated connectivity solutions. These initiatives position Airalo as infrastructure for mobile-first businesses and travel connectivity. Airalo operates a software-based eSIM marketplace offering hundreds of granular mobile data packages for international travel. The company offers 689 combinations covering about 200 countries, service durations and data sizes, and reports 5.1 million customers. Airalo says it has seen 20% month-on-month revenue growth and nearly 1 million downloads monthly for the past three months. It builds its catalog through a network of carrier agreements, mixing wholesale capacity purchases and resold roaming plans, and uses technology to measure demand and pricing. After stalling during the pandemic, growth picked up in 2022 and the company is expanding offerings beyond retail data, including a new B2B product called Airalo Partners. Airalo operates an online eSIM store that lets travelers buy and install local and global eSIMs within minutes via QR codes or in-app delivery. The service aggregates eSIMs from telcos and already offers access to over 100 eSIMs and coverage in 113 countries. Devices can hold up to 50 eSIM profiles and Airalo reported customers from 40 countries connecting in 67 countries shortly after a soft launch. The company is preparing Android and iOS apps while using its website for purchases and supports payments via PayPal, credit card and an in-app currency called Airmoney. Airalo is pursuing partnerships with carriers (examples: Telenor, 3, KPN), OTAs and airlines, and plans video ad campaigns to raise awareness and drive adoption. Financially, the team (described in the article as consisting of 8 teams) has raised initial capital and a seed round and is focused on using funds for customer acquisition, growth and scaling.

Monzo, still operating under the beta-stage name Mondo, is building a full-stack, mobile-first bank that currently issues a prepaid Mastercard linked to an iOS app. The app lets users track spending in real time, view geolocated transactions on a map, categorise purchases, and transfer money to other Monzo users. With an open API and several well-attended hackathons, the company is positioning its in-house technology as a key differentiator from legacy banks. Monzo has a 52,000-person waiting list and will ship the first 1,000 cards this week, with thousands more to follow as part of its public beta. The team says the product reflects only 20 % of the functionality planned once a full banking licence is obtained. Future roadmap items include Apple Pay integration, bill splitting, automated loyalty point redemption, and expansion to other European markets. To date the company has raised about £8 million: £7 million from Passion Capital across two investments and £1 million from an equity crowdfunding campaign.
