Parcl is a New York-based synthetic asset protocol built on and backed by Solana that enables users to invest in digital 'Parcls' tied to real-world neighborhood boundaries. Parcls are linked to a proprietary valuation index, the Parcl Price Feed (PPF), which represents median price per square foot/meter and provides continuous price updates via an oracle into smart contracts. The platform launched a testnet from March 30 to April 9 that generated over 300,000 on-chain transactions, demonstrating early user and on-chain interest. Parcl plans a second testnet on May 23 ahead of a mainnet launch in late Q2. Led by CEO Trevor Bacon, the company intends to use the funds to bolster real estate and software partnerships.
