- Daylight Energy
Participated · Equity · Oct 2025
Daylight Energy is building a decentralized fleet of rooftop solar arrays paired with home batteries, sold to homeowners through a monthly subscription that requires no initial payment. Once installed, each battery is aggregated into a virtual power resource, allowing the company to earn grid-service revenues during peak demand while still cutting customers’ utility bills. To make these cash flows transparent, Daylight has created DayFi, an on-chain protocol that links metered electricity output to tokenized claims and energy-backed payouts. Initial deployments are focused on Illinois and Massachusetts, markets selected for favorable interconnection rules and strong demand for resilience. Management believes its subscription can slash customer-acquisition costs that often exceed 60 % of traditional residential solar projects. A newly secured $75 million capital package—split between equity and a dedicated project facility—will fund installations and support the expansion of DayFi as the company scales its network.
- VICO Ahorro
Participated · Equity · Oct 2025
VICO Ahorro offers an automated, software-driven service that reviews a household’s main recurring bills—telephone, energy, insurance and similar—and seamlessly switches the user to the best available offers. By putting price comparison, switching and contract management on autopilot, the company seeks to democratize what it calls “intelligent savings” for Spanish families. The platform’s promise is an effortless reduction in fixed monthly spending, improving customers’ overall financial well-being. With the freshly secured capital the team plans to deepen its proprietary technology, expand headcount and accelerate nationwide growth. Management also emphasizes reinforcing transparency in household services as a core product pillar. Although key operating metrics such as user numbers or revenue were not disclosed, the new financing underscores investor confidence in the model. The startup is currently backed by accelerator Lanzadera and investors Angels, RACC and NotBoring.
- Convoke
Participated · Seed · Aug 2025
Convoke offers a platform that ingests internal files, proprietary databases, and external research, organizing them into an easily searchable ontology for drug developers. On top of this unified data layer, customers build custom AI agents and workflows that transform raw information into key outputs such as manuscripts, competitive-intelligence briefs, and submission-ready regulatory documents. By automating traditionally manual, repetitive tasks, the software helps biopharma companies cut development ‘white space,’ accelerate decision-making, and reduce reliance on expensive external vendors. Current users span small biotech firms to top-20 pharmaceutical companies across functions such as competitive intelligence, medical affairs, and portfolio strategy. The company positions itself as an “information factory” aimed at enabling a “self-driving” biopharma organization, ultimately shortening the time it takes to bring new medicines to market. Founded by Alex Telford, Maged Ahmed, and Vikas Velagapudi, Convoke has secured $8.6 million in total funding to pursue this vision and continues to see rapid customer adoption as industry pressures mount to do more with less.
- Unnatural Products
Participated · Series A · Dec 2023
Unnatural Products has built an integrated discovery platform to engineer synthetic macrocyclic peptides at scale, combining computational design, automated chemistry, and high-throughput biological testing. The company positions macrocyclic peptides as a modality that can marry biologics-level selectivity with small-molecule delivery properties, including potential oral delivery and cell permeability. Its pipeline targets cardiometabolic, inflammatory, and immunological diseases, and the company is advancing lead programs toward clinical development. Unnatural Products has established collaborations with pharma and biotech partners including Novartis, Merck, BridgeBio and argenx; the Novartis deal includes up to $100 million upfront and up to $1.7 billion in milestones. The recent $45 million Series B will fund further platform development and pipeline advancement. The company is headquartered in Santa Cruz, California.

The platform includes software tools for communication, collaboration, project management and a fully integrated payment solution. Since launching, Cromatic has over $15 million in R&D budget under management and has partnerships with biotech accelerators including Nucleate, SOSV, and ValleyDAO.
