The firm is led by a management team with roughly 150 years of combined experience, including CEO George M. Young Jr., who has more than 35 years in the energy industry. Pegasus has partnered with Tilden Capital to enhance sourcing and execution of mineral and royalty acquisitions. The company says it has already seen significant deal flow and plans to assemble a portfolio of high-return properties during an advantageous point in the price cycle. Financially, Pegasus is backed by a $300 million equity commitment from EnCap Investments L.P.
