Pensionera launched its robot advisory service in July 2016 to deliver personalized retirement planning advice. The company has grown rapidly since launch and reports 10,000 users, of which about 55% are paying customers. After winning the Optimizer Invest startup competition, Pensionera secured a €1.2 million investment. The raise valued the company at €8.7 million. Pensionera says it will use the funds to further its growth in Sweden before launching in its next market. Founder Alexander Pärleros highlighted that Optimizer Invest can support global expansion and potential IPO plans.
