Over the last three years PeopleDoc doubled revenue each year, and in the most recent 18 months signed 150 new clients and achieved a fourfold revenue increase. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate expansion in the United States and further grow in Europe by targeting new countries, and to invest in user experience and serving more clients globally. PeopleDoc offers a cloud-based SaaS platform that enables large companies to control HR globally and reduce administrative costs. Its platform features a suite of complementary products centered on a digital file management system that lets HR departments organize, access, and track employee and policy information. Led by CEO and co-founder Jonathan Benhamou, the company serves more than 150 corporate customers, including Starbucks, Total, Dow Chemical and Motorola. PeopleDoc is based in New York City and Paris, France. It raised $17.5M in a Series B funding round and plans to use the proceeds to grow in the US and Europe. Backers on the round included Accel Partners as well as previous investors Alven Capital and Kernel Investissements.
