Overview
Pharmarack is a B2B healthtech startup that automates pharmaceutical sales and operations, enabling businesses to process, track, and settle orders. Founded in 2015 by Amit Backliwal, Pradyumn Singh, and Kushal Bhandari, the company is Pune-based and has offices in Mumbai and Pune. The company says it has a presence in over 70 cities. The fresh funding will be used to expand its network across the country and to roll out new offerings for the ecosystem, CEO Amit Backliwal told TechCircle. Pharmarack previously raised a pre-Series A round in 2016 from Patni Group’s Currae Healthtech Fund and Unicorn India Ventures. Pharmarack Technologies provides software-as-a-service applications that automate order processing and inventory management for pharmaceutical retailers and distributors. Its platform also enables supply-chain marketing, streamlines communication between companies and stockists/retailers, and automates product launch operations. The company reports 6,500 retailers on board and says it processes Rs 50 crore of transactions per month. Pharmarack says its applications have helped clients increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency. Founded in September 2015 and based in Pune, the company previously raised $280,000 in seed funding from Unicorn India Ventures and a Mumbai-based family office. Management stated it is in advanced stages of closing a Series A with marquee VCs and used the bridge round to support surging order books and to onboard strategic investors.
