Pi develops an agentic AI security platform centered on a "security brain" that aggregates code, infrastructure, design documents, engineering discussions and historical incidents to identify genuine vulnerabilities and reduce false positives. The platform is designed to automatically remediate issues across an organization's environment, aiming to close the loop between finding and fixing security flaws. Pi says customers have reduced vulnerability triage times by as much as 80% and that its user base includes a major AI lab, cybersecurity companies, a large social network and organizations in travel and insurance. The company was founded by security leaders with experience uncovering vulnerabilities at Microsoft and leading offensive security at Tesla and is based in San Francisco. Pi plans to use the new capital to support efforts to secure software environments increasingly built with AI-generated code.
