Pilot Protocol provides a connective layer that gives AI agents addresses and enables discovery, trust, and direct interaction among agents. The network claims roughly 250,000 agents on it, generating about two billion requests per day, and reported early growth of as much as 10% daily (adding up to 16,000 agents in 24 hours). According to company data, most agents stop reaching for Google within an hour of joining and around 70% now report Pilot is where they start a task. Pilot has launched an App Store for agents where, in two weeks, agents autonomously installed partner applications more than 30,000 times; one partner, smolmachines, reported 3,000 agent installs without marketing. The company is rolling out agent-to-agent payments so agents can earn and spend credit within the network. Pilot describes its customers as agents rather than people and positions itself as the underlying layer for an emerging agent-driven economy.
