- Claryx
Participated · Seed · Aug 2026
Claryx develops genomic surveillance technology—branded CloneLink—that reads genomes of confirmed patient infections, links related cases into outbreaks, and traces each to likely sources including environmental reservoirs. The platform also builds a digital twin of a hospital from air, water and surface sampling to locate reservoirs of transmission, and Claryx says its proprietary chemistry cuts the most expensive sequencing step by more than twentyfold so continuous running is affordable. The company was founded by Kurt and Dirk Hackenberger and is based in New York, and it is already live across multiple health systems. The team highlights peer-reviewed results from a two-year study at UPMC Presbyterian that found 172 otherwise undetected outbreaks, stopped 96% of traced outbreaks, and estimated avoided infections, deaths and a 3.2-fold return on the program cost. Claryx positions itself as building a "hospital immune system" that detects transmission in real time and confirms when interventions worked. The company announced a $3.5 million pre-seed raise to scale deployments and operations.
- Pilot Protocol
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
Pilot Protocol provides a connective layer that gives AI agents addresses and enables discovery, trust, and direct interaction among agents. The network claims roughly 250,000 agents on it, generating about two billion requests per day, and reported early growth of as much as 10% daily (adding up to 16,000 agents in 24 hours). According to company data, most agents stop reaching for Google within an hour of joining and around 70% now report Pilot is where they start a task. Pilot has launched an App Store for agents where, in two weeks, agents autonomously installed partner applications more than 30,000 times; one partner, smolmachines, reported 3,000 agent installs without marketing. The company is rolling out agent-to-agent payments so agents can earn and spend credit within the network. Pilot describes its customers as agents rather than people and positions itself as the underlying layer for an emerging agent-driven economy.
- Dopl Technologies
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
Dopl Technologies develops a distributed telerobotic ultrasound ecosystem that includes Traverse (a remote robotic ultrasound system), Dopl Connect (a secure connectivity and data platform), and SonoFlex (a distributed clinical workforce and workflow management solution). The company also operates an interim service, CareBridge, which provides traveling sonographer coverage and has delivered up to a 90% reduction in patient wait times where it operates. Dopl has completed FDA pre-submission engagement, established a 510(k) regulatory pathway, and holds patented technology. The business estimates a significant market opportunity, citing a roughly $40 billion annual reimbursement opportunity for U.S. hospitals as telerobotic imaging scales. With more than $8 million in total funding following its $6.3 million seed, Dopl is pursuing product verification, clinical evaluation, regulatory clearance, and initial pilot deployments. The team, founded in 2022 and headquartered in Bothell, includes clinicians and engineers with experience from organizations such as Butterfly Network, Philips, Microsoft, Amazon, and NVIDIA.
- Bluecore Energy
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
Founded seven months ago by Kofi Asante, Bluecore Energy develops small modular reactors (SMRs) installed on floating barges intended to supply clean power to ports and nearby communities. The reactors heat water to produce steam that drives a turbine; the system is water-cooled in a closed loop and the company says refueling would be required only once every few years. Bluecore’s barges are designed to be relocatable by ship and can connect to the grid via subsea cables, with targets including powering the equivalent of approximately 15,000 homes or scaling to meet a major port’s needs. The startup has secured a port terminal, a barge and a test reactor pressure vessel to validate flow and cooling, and is combining hardware and software testing to verify its designs. The company is working with regulators and emphasizes multiple layers of safety and redundancy, including uranium clad in a thick steel pressure vessel with concrete shielding and steel lining. Financially, Bluecore announced a $10 million pre-seed raise led by Slauson & Co. to fund deployment and testing.
- Idilio
Participated · Seed · Jun 2026
Idilio produces vertical micronovelas with episodes of one to three minutes and seasons that can reach up to 80 chapters, aiming for strong hooks in the first three seconds. The company describes itself as data-first: it writes and produces initial chapters, publishes them in-app and on social, and uses rapid metrics to decide whether to rewrite or scale a story. Idilio reports roughly two million downloads in 120 countries and about 45 minutes of daily use per user, which the company says is double Netflix's mobile time by its metrics. Founder Gabriela Tafur, a Colombian lawyer, TV presenter and Stanford MBA, built the product after observing short-form dubbed dramas in mobile use. The company targets Latin American melodrama as a cultural differentiator versus Chinese-origin micro-series and aims to scale its audience internationally. The model emphasizes low-cost, fast production cycles but faces sector risks such as low retention and variable content quality.
