Piston Cloud Computing, founded in early 2011 and led by CEO Jim Morrisroe, delivers a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution built on OpenStack for building, scaling and managing private IaaS clouds on bare-metal, converged commodity hardware. The company's software is offered via an exclusive licensing agreement with Gridcentric and integrates with Cloud Foundry so the PaaS can run on OpenStack.
