Overview
Pivigo is a London-based AI-as-a-Service company founded in 2013 that develops a machine-learning platform to help organisations use AI without an in-house data science team. Its first sector product, Occupi, targets social housing by improving rent collection, identifying tenants in need of assistance, and transforming productivity. The platform is adaptable and can be used to create different products for other sectors. Peabody, the London Borough of Camden, Community Housing, and Cobalt are already using Pivigo's platform. In January 2023 Pivigo raised £1.55M to support hiring, boost sales and marketing, and roll out Occupi to more social landlords. Pivigo operates a data science marketplace and runs a large training program (S2DS) that connects data scientists with businesses across the UK and Europe. The company was founded in 2013 by Kim Nilsson and Jason Muller and is based in London. It secured an undisclosed funding round announced on 29 July 2016. Backers included Angel Academe, Craigie Capital, Dunamis Ventures Ltd and the London Co-Investment Fund. Pivigo intends to use the funds to launch a new online marketplace for data science. The marketplace under development is intended to give data scientists access to a hub of network opportunities, jobs and freelance projects.
