Predictix offers cloud-native predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions for retailers, covering Merchandise Planning, Assortment and Category Management, Demand Forecasting, Price Optimization and Supply Chain Optimization. The company sells these capabilities as SaaS and reported over 40% growth in SaaS subscriptions in 2015. Its customer base includes three of the top 10 U.S. retailers and five of the top 15 global retailers, and it has signed 15 consumer packaged goods companies to collaborate on forecasting and in-stock improvements. Key 2015 milestones included implementing Assortment Planning in seven months at a top-10 U.S. retailer and a rollout with a top-10 U.S. grocer that combines assortment, forecasting and price management. Gartner positioned Predictix as a Leader in the 2015 Magic Quadrant for Merchandise Assortment Management Applications and noted Predictix as the only cloud-native solution in the Leaders quadrant. The company announced a strategic partnership with Infor that included a $25 million minority investment and said it is building on 2015 successes into 2016. Predictix positions its solutions to drive tens to hundreds of millions in benefits for retailers by improving assortments, forecasting accuracy and omni-channel fulfillment. Predictix provides predictive, cloud-native retail applications that leverage Big Data and advanced predictive and prescriptive analytics to optimize planning, merchandising, forecasting and supply chain decisions. Its applications run on the LogicBlox Smart Database, a hybrid transaction/analytical processing (HTAP) database. The company emphasizes real-time performance and scalability to enable even the largest retailers to optimize decisions and adapt to changing needs. Predictix says its solutions help retailers make decisions for more than 8 billion store-SKU combinations generating $168 billion in annual sales. Gartner’s July 2014 Magic Quadrant for Merchandise Assortment Management Applications rated Predictix highest on ability to execute and furthest on completeness of vision within the Challengers Quadrant. The company plans to use a recent $15 million investment to deepen retail expertise, accelerate momentum and support strategic growth and global scaling.
