Priori Legal runs a global Marketplace that matches in-house legal teams with vetted attorneys and a SaaS product, Scout, that manages outside-counsel panels and surfaces firm- and attorney-level insights. Marketplace hosts more than 8,000 attorneys, with lawyers in all 50 U.S. states and 55 countries covering over 700 practice proficiencies, and its Marketplace revenue grew approximately 250% year-over-year. Scout is in beta with customers including Hearst, Marsh McLennan, Zimmer Biomet and a Fortune 10 technology company, and more than 30 law firms (including Orrick and 13 other AmLaw 50 firms) have joined the Scout beta. The company says its platform saves corporate legal teams time and money and supports diversity and hiring goals. Priori plans to expand product functionality, accelerate new product development, scale go-to-market efforts, and substantially grow headcount across sales, marketing, engineering, and operations using the new capital. Priori Legal operates a marketplace of vetted lawyers that runs competitive bidding and streamlines billing and onboarding for companies hiring outside counsel. The company accepts about 10% of applicant lawyers and currently hosts more than 1,500 lawyers across all 50 U.S. states and 47 countries with 700 practice proficiencies. Priori says it saves companies an average of 60% on outside‑counsel spending and reduces search time by 80%; client spending on the platform increased 200% in the last year. Founders Basha Rubin and Mirra Levitt launched the business as a legal marketplace for SMBs before finding its current enterprise model in 2016. Priori does not provide legal services itself and focuses on the process of rapidly identifying talent and making billing seamless. The company plans to use funding to grow the team, expand its international lawyer network, and build out data and machine‑learning capabilities across vetting, matchmaking, bidding and project scoping.
