Privacy Labs is a stealth-stage company developing products intended to let individuals take back their data and reclaim privacy and security. The company currently has no product and is cagey about specifics, saying it will disclose more later in the year. Founders Giri Sreenivas (CEO) and Dirk Sigurdson (CTO) left Rapid7 last May and began work on Privacy Labs a month later; their prior exit (Mobilisafe sold to Rapid7 in 2012) informed investor confidence. Privacy Labs is actively working on development and focused on building out its team to bring a product to market. Noted security expert H. D. Moore is an advisor, and Initialized Capital’s Garry Tan has joined the board as part of the funding deal. The company is based in Seattle and plans to remain there.
