Propstack aggregates comprehensive commercial real estate data into searchable databases, transaction histories and qualitative-quantitative models used by corporations and investors. The company services institutional clients including Blackstone, RBS and BNP Paribas. Founded in 2013 in Mumbai, Propstack positioned itself as a data play to address gaps in India’s CRE information market. The new capital will be used to expand India coverage by establishing local offices in an initial seven cities and creating micro-market teams across 65 patches. Headcount is planned to grow from 18 to over 160 in the next 18 months, alongside central tech, product and data teams. Propstack says its products are global in nature and could expand into Asian markets such as Hong Kong or Singapore with partner support.
