Proteine Resources
Jesionowa 11, Masłomiąca, Malopolskie, 32-091, Poland
Overview
Founded in 2018 by Konrad Włodarczyk and Bartłomiej Roszkowski, Proteine Resources converts mushroom-industry by-products into high-value, insect-based proteins and bioactive compounds for pet food, veterinary supplements, animal feed, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. Its patented technology platform, paired with an AI-driven automation system, supports fully autonomous, low-staff factories that operate with zero waste, high energy efficiency, and a carbon-negative footprint. The resulting EntoPro™ protein is hypoallergenic and matches beef-level quality while remaining more sustainable. The company’s modular production units enable decentralized, location-flexible manufacturing, positioning the business for rapid global roll-out. With fresh capital, Proteine Resources plans to scale its pilot site in the Mazowieckie region tenfold to 100 tons of annual output and construct what it claims will be the world’s first fully autonomous insect-protein facility. Additional resources will advance clinical trials to substantiate health claims, develop gut-health formulations, and support market entry across Europe. Including its most recent round, the firm has secured nearly €12 million to date.
