ProxToMe provides a mobile app that lets users discover people nearby and share digital content in real time. It leverages a proprietary “proximity engine” to surface nearby users and enable immediate interactions. Features include discovering Facebook profiles of nearby ProxToMe users, in-app chat, sharing content from Dropbox, adding contacts and interacting offsite. Event organizers can distribute content during events by setting up content and date, view analytics and engage with contacts. The app is available for iPhone and Android. The company has offices in Italy and the USA and is led by CEO Carlo Capello and CTO Andrea Motto.
