Launched in March and founded by Alex Sailer, Tiffany Wong, Hayden Jensen and Andy Su, Pry targets startups typically after they raise seed funding and second-time founders tired of Excel. The product starts at $50 a month and emphasizes collaborative scenario planning with branching (akin to Git) that stays synced to live payroll and bank data. Pry reports more than 200 customers and growth of 35% month-over-month since YC’s Demo Day. The company says it helps teams spot issues (one founder found a $15,000 tax problem) and aims to improve cross-team financial understanding. Future plans include building more complex predictive tools, integrating industry statistics and benchmarks into templates, and adding roles and permissions.
