PULSETRAIN
Taunusstrasse 31-37, Munich, Bayern, 80807, Germany
Overview
PULSETRAIN builds an integrated "In‑Battery" powertrain solution that consolidates the Battery Management System (BMS), inverter, and charging electronics into the battery housing using a multilevel inverter and AI-driven software. The company says its technology can extend EV battery lifespan up to 80% (equivalent to about 18 years versus 10) while reducing thermal risks, enabling more powerful, safer and lower-cost electric vehicles. Its holistic approach removes several commonly used components to reduce weight and increase resource efficiency and adds a multilevel platform for AI-based real-time data analysis for fleet management, intelligent charging control and vehicle-to-grid use cases. PULSETRAIN is initially focusing on two-wheelers and commercial vehicles with plans to expand into automotive, aviation, agriculture and shipping. The company has more than 40 highly specialised employees and will use the financing to accelerate product development and prepare for industrialisation and scale. The founding team includes Leopold König, Thomas Plaschko and Niclas Lehnert, who bring decades of battery and mobility sector experience.
