    Bios Life combines clinical, laboratory, and genetic data to create ongoing "digital twin" models that continuously update an individual's cancer risk rather than relying on episodic scans. The company targets cancer survivors and people with higher genetic risk—groups it says together encompass over 40 million Americans—and highlights that more than 40% of people will get cancer in their lifetime with over 30% diagnosed at stage 3 or 4. Founded by former BioNTech executives and other clinicians and product leaders, the team includes ex-BioNTech and InstaDeep personnel leading strategy, AI, and operations. Bios Life owns commercial rights to the Nucleotide Transformer genomics foundation model developed by BioNTech-InstaDeep and has a multi-year data partnership with Tempus, with integration planned for Ambry Genetics. The company raised a $25 million seed round—their first external financing—and intends to use the resources to develop its technology and launch its U.S. platform in H2 2026, with a waitlist already open. Bios Life delivers care through a virtual clinic model with licensed teams working alongside cancer centers to provide continuous monitoring and tailored follow-up.

    Hyperscale Power is building solid state transformers that operate at much higher switching frequencies than existing models, allowing the devices to be significantly smaller than traditional iron-core transformers and even current solid state competitors. The technology is aimed at data centers, where soaring rack power densities (Nvidia is planning 1 MW racks) are making bulkier legacy transformers a bottleneck. By stepping incoming power up to tens of kilohertz before conversion and then returning it to the required frequency, Hyperscale’s design minimizes component count and footprint while targeting efficiencies similar to the 99.1% unit CEO Daniel Rothmund built during his PhD at ETH Zürich. The company sees rapid data-center expansion and increasing grid complexity from batteries and renewables as strong tailwinds for adoption. Co-founded by Rothmund and Sami Pettersson, Hyperscale intends to use its new capital to build a working prototype and prove its size and performance claims. Financially, the startup has only disclosed a recent €5 million seed round and has not yet shared revenue or customer metrics.

Funding is being directed toward expanding its satellite constellation to provide broader global coverage and to build next-generation platforms capable of sub-5-metre resolution. The firm also aims to ensure secure, sovereign control over intelligence for European and allied customers, elevating its system to full defence-grade performance. Including the latest raise, constellr has secured a total of €75 million in funding to date.
