Overview
Qibitech, founded in 2011 by members from the University of Tokyo JSK lab, builds intelligent robot systems and an autonomous remote-assistance platform named HATS. The HATS platform bundles remote-control, simulation, multi-robot intelligent control, long-term operational improvement, maintenance, and remote-support functions to accelerate robot adoption. Qibitech aims to package these functions so customers can pick needed features for faster, lower-cost introductions in logistics warehouses, factories, and commercial facilities, while continuing and expanding contract development work. The company emphasizes semi-automation to enable human-robot cooperation and to address labor shortages. In this round it raised approximately ¥810 million and has secured cumulative funding of over ¥1 billion across three financings. Proceeds will be used to strengthen engineering and sales hiring, secure lab space, and expand product development and go-to-market capabilities for HATS and related services.
