Qualinx

Molengraaffsingel 8, Delft, South Holland, 2629 JD, Netherlands

Overview

Founded in 2015 as a spin-off from TU Delft, Qualinx applies proprietary Digital Radio Frequency (DRF) technology to shift many analog radio functions into the digital domain, sharply reducing power consumption, chip size and cost. Its market-ready QLX3Gx Series GNSS chip consumes up to 10× less energy and offers up to 5× the positioning performance of conventional solutions while fitting into a compact 5 × 5 mm package. The device supports concurrent tracking of six satellite constellations and multi-band processing, integrates hardware-level security, and can be reconfigured via software to extend product lifecycles. Manufacturing is handled by GlobalFoundries in Dresden, anchoring production within the EU. Target markets span wearables, pet and asset trackers, IoT sensors, drones, vehicles, telecommunications and satellites. The company plans mass production in 2026 and will showcase its technology at CES 2026 while offering developer kits to OEMs. With the latest financing, Qualinx has raised €40 million to date and anticipates a Series B round in the second half of 2026.
