Quandela develops full‑stack optical (photonic) quantum computers that can be accessed via cloud or deployed on‑premises. It opened a quantum computer manufacturing facility in Massy, France in June 2023 and has delivered its first machine to an industrial customer, OVHcloud. The company employs more than fifty PhD researchers and engineers across algorithms, semiconductors, quantum optics, quantum information and computer science. Quandela is producing three additional machines scheduled for delivery in 2024. The company positions itself as one of the first in the EU to make quantum computers accessible via the cloud and is focused on meeting industrial client needs. Recent funding will support accelerated production and international expansion.
