Overview
Gtmhub builds OKR (objectives and key results) corporate planning software. The company plans to evolve beyond OKR tooling into more proactive corporate planning by leveraging company data to surface “inflection points” for customers. That roadmap includes machine-learning work to make the product more guiding, a push the company says will be expensive given current ML talent costs. Gtmhub has expanded via smaller M&A, including acquiring Koan after that vendor shut down. The startup expects to triple its revenues this year and potentially repeat that growth next year. The new capital will be used to support that growth. Gtmhub builds software to help companies manage corporate planning using the OKR (objectives and key results) framework. The company has an enterprise focus and is seeing adoption beyond technology firms and internationally. Gtmhub reported rapid topline expansion, growing ARR by a multiple of three from December 2019 to December 2020. Its annual contract value (ACV) grew by a factor of ten in 2020, and the total number of paying users also rose tenfold during the year. Gross margins remained around roughly 90% during this period. Gtmhub declined to share specific 2021 growth plans with TechCrunch, while leadership said the company expects to ride broader OKR adoption and corporate transformation trends. Gtmhub builds OKR-focused software and services, including implementation, training, real-time tracking and integrations with external tooling to ingest data for progress visibility. The company emphasizes an enterprise-first approach while continuing to offer a new low-cost START plan at $1 per user per month for smaller teams. Gtmhub is developing a marketplace to let customers learn from existing OKR setups and leverage analytics and data-import tooling. The startup reported strong operating metrics: ARR growth of over 400% year-over-year, gross margins above 90% (up from over 80% YoY) and ACV trends up 650% YoY. Gtmhub operates as a distributed company with roughly 60 employees across offices in Denver, Sofia, Berlin and London. The firm has historically raised little capital relative to its growth, positioning it to scale further with new funding.
