Founded in 2021 by brothers Marijn and Bas Flipse, Quatt develops hardware and software that help Dutch households decarbonise and optimise their energy use. Its product line spans hybrid and fully electric heat pumps, residential cooling solutions, the Quatt HomeBattery, dynamic energy contracts, and EnergyOS, a real-time energy-management system that coordinates devices to cut costs and ease grid congestion. The firm says it has already secured a leading share of the Dutch heat-pump market and now plans to replicate that position in cooling, batteries, and energy services. The technology is designed to stabilise the grid by autonomously shifting demand and storage, thereby maximising consumer savings. Headquartered in Amsterdam, the company employs about 300 people. The new capital injection will let Quatt hold larger inventories, speed deliveries, and reach more households as the market for residential electrification grows.
